We haven't taken our 95 YJ offroad yet - that'll happen this summer. But, I'm looking at that low tailpipe and wondering if it won't be an issue when I drag my tail through a wash.

So - what'ya do? Couldn't find a search pattern that gave me an answer.

Remove the rear track bar if you plan on flexing it out (or just want a smoother ride). I dented my exhaust pretty bad with it

Does he have springs or leafs? You can interpolate it to be leafs, but with all the mods that guys do, and the lack of info provided, it beats me. If I were you, I'd be hoping he has leafs after you just told him to yank the trackbar off.

Well, this is the "YJ" section, so we can only assume that's what he drives.
Incidently, as of right now, my exhaust is buggered up right now too - the repair is gonna be modified so it doesn't happen again - just won't let it stick out or down too far.

Thanks for the tips. Been out sick for a couple days - sorry for the tardy response.

95 YJ with leafs all around. Front and rear track bars are still on but will be coming off when I'm under PORing the frame and installing a 2" zone lift.

Sounds like it's a matter of 2 minutes with my favorite tool - the sawzall.

cut the angled piece off and put a striaght extension on

Just curious as to how many people do a coil conversion in a yj, seems more effective just to buy a tj.
Solved the mystery for you. Pro Comp 5" Coil Conversion Lift Kit with MX-6 Shocks for 87-95 Jeep® Wrangler YJ with Hardtop - Quadratec
Looks like the kit is a couple grand, (a little more than a high end lift kit, plus you get shocks and the lift out of it).
I think TJ's are a lot more than that. Especially since one would already own a YJ in this case.

That kit is junk. I worked at 4wp we installed one and we even tried to talk the guy out of it. We installed it then he was pissed cause it was junk we tried to warn him
