It looks like the former owner had these Wrangler graphics added and I'd like to remove them. I had some "Goof Off" around the house and tried it on one corner of the "r". Not only did it start removing the letter, but it also turned rag black where I rubbed it. Is it possible it was removing paint? If so, what should I use to remove these?

I ended up just doing a matte black stripe with plastidip. I stopped it at the hood but am wondering if I should take it back to the windshield. Thoughts?

I wrap my hood with the vinyl wrap Matte black. This should give you an idea of what it looks like if you go back to the windshield.

I would take t back to the window. Currently it looks unfinished, but thats just my opinion.

I have been tempted to put a decal on the hood of my YJ - in true poseur fashion since it is kinda Polar Edition Blue, but I was leaning more towards "Bi-Polar Edition".

Synergy Green paint with Gold Shimmer Pearl on top of clear, then cleared over. very easy to do. Stencil is hardest part. My stencil stuck and made a mess. We sanded and cleaned up most of it. Came out better than expected, but wish I had put more coats on it. It's almost too "ghosted". See Wrangler on sides of hood. This is the first time ever done this. You could easily do this right over stock paint job too. I bought the pearl right off the web. Painting with Pearl.
