I had 33 Duratracs on a 2012 JK with Rockstar II rims. Before I installed a leveling kit, when you turned the wheel to a full lock, the tires would rub on the front plastic guard. Annoying but not tragic.

With the kit, that problem went away. Without a lift, a simple trimming of the plastic is all that was needed. I assume you are running stock rims.

I have Nitto Terra Grapplers in 285/70/17 with no lift and stock rims They rub the swaybar at full turn, but it doesnt bother me much.

I'm on 33s, no lift- but I am running 1.5" spacers. I also removed the front air dam, but for purely aesthetic reasons. It wasn't rubbing with the spacers.

Hi Adam, do you have a front shot of your JK, I wanted to see what 1.5'' spacers look like. I'm planning on getting spacers soon. Any recommended brands?

Am I wrong or won't it be just better to adjust the steering bump stops to prevent the rubbing on the front wheels.

I added a washer (about an 1/8" thick) on both sides and that took care of my issue on the TJ.

The HR comes with a 32+ inch tire so that was my plan when I replace the OME tires.
