Looking to get some sort of bag to store the windows when they are off to protect them. Lots of options out there. I am just wondering what everyone else is using before i buy one and not like it

some i am looking at:

Clover Patch 10-ST-9704 - Clover Patch Window Roll™ for 07-16 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door - Quadratec
Bestop 42810-09 - Bestop HOSS™ Window Storage Duffle in Charcoal For Bestop and Factory Zip Out Vinyl Windows - Quadratec
Smittybilt 595101 - Smittybilt Window Storage Bag for 76-16 Jeep® CJ-7, Wrangler YJ, TJ, JK & Unlimited JK - Quadratec

I see some get strapped in which is nice and some are a bag like what i have for the hard top panels.

Which one should i go for?

thanks!

I have had the Cloverpatch for years and just picked up the Bestop one in a combo deal with my hard top cart. I like the Bestop better as it's smaller in the back of the Jeep and I can lay it down on the ground while loading the windows. The backing on the Bestop is durable where the Cloverpatch it is all felt and picks up crap from the ground. I'll be using the Bestop from now on!

That's what your hood is for.

I had the Bestop one and ended up returning it.

Instead, I got a fleece blanket and two fleece towels from Walmart. I lay the fleece blanket down, lay the back window on top of one side of the blanket, fold the other half of the fleece blanket over the back window, then lay a side window down over the whole thing, lay a fleece towel over the window, lay the other side window on top, then lay the final fleece towel down. At this point, I roll up like a log and use the two elastic straps on the back of the soft top (unsnapped off the top) to hold the whole thing together. Then, it's thrown in the back behind my back seat.

This solution was cheaper, but more importantly, it's more functional. The Bestop bag was fine, but the blankets and towels are much thicker than the material in the Bestop bag. And, the process with the blankets and towels is so much faster.

I had my wife sew me a fleece bag much like the bag that holds the freedom panels. There are three pockets, one for each window. Slide the windows into a pocket, and just roll it up and throw it in the back.

Cheap and functional.

avc8130, have you had a chance to use this Ridgeline soft top window storage bag? Also, does anyone know if it works with premium top windows? I'm asking because there's a couple of reviews online and they aren't too praising of the product.

Nope. Weather took a nose dive once it arrived. Now my back window is filthy and I need to learn how to clean it first.

the clover patch one looks to be the best value

is it the only one that also stores the rear window bottom bar inside as well?
