What are you guys running as AUX lights? I like the classic looks of round lights on the apillar but cant make up my mind. I would prefer LED but any pics suggestions are appreciated.

I'm trying to decide if I want to blow way too much cash to mount something from this fine collection on my bumper:

KC HiLites has some much more economical round LEDs, with much more economical lumen counts.

I just upgraded all of mine. Now I went middle of the road on most. I didnt want to pay a fortune for KC and some of the higher brand ones. I mostly went with Rough Country for my Pods and small 12 inch light bar on my bumper. For my headlights, fog lights and tail lights I went with ones that were LED, affordable and had the look i was going for but would not break the bank. I used Amazon for all of these whereas i used jeep specialty shops for the big stuff like re-gearing, front and back bumper etc...The lights I went with and have had no issues with from amazon are:

Sunpie amber front LED turn signal

XPrite 4 inch LED fog lights

Smoked LED Tail Light from eurolight

LX-Light 7 inch Round Black Cree Led Head Light

Amak 4 (i bought two sets) LED Rock Light Kit

Then i used Rough Country 70959 MCL to join it all together.

Now everyone is going to have their preference on what they like and more are going to discuss what they hate. I decided to go with these for a few reasons: Reviews, Price, Appearance. I am not a hard corps trail guy (Im a weekend warrior) so I wanted something that gave me the ability to be out on the trail every once in a while, provide better light when Im camping but something that wouldnt break the bank and allowed me to have good lights in the city/hwy.

Good luck, im sure you will love what you end up with...

I'm running the tuff plus vision x led cannon knock offs. I've compared them side by side with the real vision x and there isn't much difference in look or light output or range. Got them on my a pillar and the front bumper. Been running them for almost 3 years with zero issues

Also running some Amber cubes on the front bumper for when it's foggy, raining or snowing out.

The cannons were sent to me by tuff plus to test out but if I remember right they run around $150 a set shipped maybe less. I can't remember who sent me the Amber cubes but they have been on the Jeep for almost as long as the cannons.

I have a windshield mounted Chinese LED light bar from EBay. I don't use it a lot, it puts out a ton of light and I like the looks.

What kind of mounting bracket is that? Looks clean, does it whistle on the highway?

I have a 10” Rigid SR Flood in front of my winch, Rigid SS Spots on my A Pillar, a pair of Rigid SRQ Floods for my backup lights, Lux Rock lights, and JWS headlights and fog lights.

I switched to Rigid from my overseas made aux lights due to condensation, yellowing, fading, and peeling. I did replace them under warranty and same issue with the warranted lights. 1st set lasted about 6 months before I made the claim, and second set started to discolor within a few months.

I think Northridge has a set of 7" ones on clearance -forum discount. (Still too much for my pocket though)

Inspired Engineeering has some neat small rounds I just found that I may consider for the A-pillar in a spot version.

Leaning towards Baja Designs that BuildIt just put on his for the front bull bar.

Those KCs are neat too. I like that flex array design they have right now.

I did this just for ditch lights. Wanted something stealthy. Actually was going to use for aux reverse lights but they were overkill.

Also have a 20" single row built into the bumper (ace pro series). Just a cheapie off amazon. Not in this pic, but you see where it goes.

I won a gift certificate from a vendor that got me one of my small cubes from this company: https://extremeledlightbars.com/?_v..._vsrefdom=adwords&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7oOThfbe4AIVwh-tBh06ewG4EAAYASAAEgLIg_D_BwE
And I bought another to match. It was before the proliferation of cheap-n-stinky Amazon/Ebay lights.
The two bigger lights are cheap-n-stinky Ebay lights that a buddy wanted me to try out. They work just fine but the cases faded like crazy in the GA sun.

I'm a big fan of high quality lighting for headlights and other safety, road worthy lighting.
For offroad lights I don't need top-shelf.

KC Daylighters on the bumper. They put out a massive amount of light. Whenever I turn them on, I get giddy that I can actually see the road

Thanks for the pic! Do you recommend any specific wiring harness and switch? Did you add a switch/relay? I'm a mechanical engineer, but admittedly wiring is Greek to me. I can do 120V household wiring no problem, but I'm not really confident in my abilities with small control type wiring and automotive electrical systems. :blackeye

I am running the following. That is a Smittybilt bumper with stock early fog lights running a modded 9011 65w bulb. There is no fuse on that circuit but the computer would have shut it down if it drew too much amperage. Stock bulb is a 9045 fog light. I wanted to run Hella 500's in the bumper but they will not fit due to the bumper having light tabs on the bottom of the upper bar. So I tried out a set of Hella Optilux 1300 55w driving lights because I wanted something that did not poke up into my LOS but those tabs that interfered with the 500's were perfect to pendant mount the 1300's. Those are triggered off of the high beam without any other switch. Headlights are Cibie H4 with a H4 headlight booster and a Truck-Lite anti flicker harness, with Hella 90-130 bulbs. I was apprehensive about the Optilux lamps but they work great and I was pleasantly surprised.
