Just bought this 2018 jeep Wrangler unlimited sport. Has a bunch of mods on it. What is this red thing that has a shock on it? Noob question I know. Is this a aftermarket thing?

You also have poison spyder diff covers. Good stuff, thick and keeps you from damaging your gears or bending the cover (common with the factory stamped steel ones) and leaking all your diff fluid out.

There are many many people here that will gladly help, just ask away! It might take a little time to get an answer sometimes, but you will get one.

Welcome from San Diego!

Here’s how you can know for sure:

Measure your front shock. From the middle of the bottom bolt eye to the bottom of the rubber bushing.

Going back to the dealer today for some paperwork going to see if they will fix this. See where I circled, there is a bolt missing that holds the one side of the coils up. I can't see where it's supposed to bolt to. It's just free balling with no support on that side.

That diagram will help you figure out how much lift it actually has.
But for reference, a typical 2.5" lift will have around 3" or so lift up front. A 3" lift would have around 3.5" of lift, and a 3.5" lift would give you around 4" of lift up front. So, if it does have 3" of lift up front it is likely a 2.5" lift.

Welcome. JW Speaker headlight upgrade also. Nice upgrade from stock. Those look like they might be the power wires for the winch.
Those are the power wires for the winch. But beside those wires is hole meant for a bolt. It's missing. Nothing holding that side of the cooling coils, or whatever you call those things.

I don't think JW has a full halo like that. I haven't seen one anyway. Maybe DV8?
