So I pull the e brake and my jeep just keeps on rolling, used to work perfect and would even keep the jeep at a stop on a steep hill. The e brake light on the dash does go on but brake just doesn't work.
What should I check? I only took a look under and the assembly seems okay..

You may need to adjust the cable or adjust/replace your brake shoes in the rear.

Sorry for the long delay in answering...long weekend.

The rear brakes are applied when you step on the brake pedal, however, as with most vehicles, the bulk of the work it takes to stop your Wrangler is done by the front brakes due to weight transfer. Less pressure is needed at the rear because of this and if more pressure was used there would be more of a tendency to lock up the rear.

How did your inspection/adjustments go?
