Bought an aftermarket soundbar for my wrangler and it didnt come with any directions on mounting it... just the bolts and screws so does anybody have any suggestions on how and where the brackets go?

it doest say... just a six speaker soundbar brand new in the box... bought it off ebay

Ok, do you have any photos of your product or the brackets?
Most have brackets that simple screw into the roll bar with two small screws on each side. With cloth covers that velcro around the rollbar.

there is the bar in the first pic. then there are two bigger brackets and two smaller brakets...

ok with the brackets on what do you use to keep it in placce and from falling off if you hit a bump

I think you bolt it to the rollbar, thier might be holes all ready thier, or you drill your own hole. I have that sound bar, and i bolted mine to the roll bar But i had to get bigger skrews cuz the ones it came with were to small for the factory holes.

My 97 had holes in the rollbar for attaching the factory soundbar, yours should too but you gotta take the padding off if you still have it.

Haha I had to get smaller screws because the ones in the kit were too big. Perhaps the size of the holes in the roll bar changed over the years. Mines a 97 btw.
