My 2011 wrangler JKU has been having issues lately. No power doors, wiper fluid, and radio problems. I continued to drive the Jeep being it is my only vehicle. Later the engine light went on and the transmission started thumping and making cranking noises, I have never had this problem before. It also started giving me a hot oil message flashing on my dash. It was referring to transmission oil, which I will probably change now that it’s not being driven much. Anyway I figured it was a bad tipm so I ordered a rebuilt one from MAKs. And installed it earlier today. I soft reset it and I worked fine. All electrical issues are gone (Including check engine light). But when I put the Jeep in reverse it didn’t move. And the transmission is still making noises knocking and thumping. After a minute it started to move back in reverse slowly so I backed it out and put it in drive. It didn’t move I gave it gas and nothing. So I put it in 2nd gear still nothing. Then 1st gear and after about 30 seconds it started crawling slowly and loud having a hard time. Any ideas what is causing this ? Thank you.
