I'm a fan of most other Ace products (I have their sliders), but not a fan of these. They look DIY to me...

I like the plate version better than tube versions. Weight vs popular tube versions?

Ugh i hate the mismatched height on the door handles (although common on most aftermarket doors). Otherwise they look great! Ballpark idea on pricing yet?

 

We don't have the cost estimate done yet as we're still making changes, but we will let you know on pricing as soon as we have it.

 

So like they'd be cooler if they were waterproof and had uppers IMO.

On a rig with slight curvy surfaces, flat surfaces, over done holes and the "ACE" cutout ends all interest for me.

 

I'm with you on the "ACE" cutouts. Just not a fan of permanent branding.
Otherwise I like the aesthetics of the design. Maybe consider putting your branding on it in a method that would make it more subtle?

 

Will these be available in Black, or other colors?

 

They will come e-coated and black texture powdercoated. We may offer just an e-coat option for those who want to color match them to their Jeep.

Love everything but the giant logo. Nice design.

 

Doors would match the grumper quite well. But not on my jeep....ever. I agree with what others said about the giant logo. I specifically installed the ace engineering inner fenders because there was no giant logo.

However, I did see an awesome set of tube doors on the JL nacho in moab. Large diameter tube, very simple. I also like how they bowed out, giving people more room. Those and the Rancho tube doors are the only ones I would consider buying.

 

i agree with the others. The Ace logo is a bit too much and why cant the tops of the doors be level with the Jeep all the way back? Like bring the top of the front doors up just a bit so the rear doors don't have to transition from low to high as you move to the back of the Jeep.

One reason I bought the Ace inner fenders was because the hole were your logo. Everyone knows they are Ace just from the holes. I know a bunch of people have copied that look since they came out. I also run the Ace rear bumper and while I am not in love with the logo back there its at least not in your face like these are.

 

Do the hinges come with them? Looks like factory ones on there.

I've always been ambivalent about tube doors - they just never really did anything for me. These? These I will buy. These just look badass. The "ACE" logo is fine with me. Nicely done.

I like them, but I think you could change a couple things to satisfy a lot of critics (or potential critics)

- take your logo off, a lot of people (including myself) bought y’alls inner fender because it didn’t have a brands logo on it.
- make the door handles line up. I remember when researching tube doors vs half doors a lot of JKU owners didn’t like that the door handles didn’t line up. I have a 2 door myself so no sweat off my back.

I would like to see a locking mechanism put on them.
My JCR off-road half doors have a great locking mechanism. They also have 1/2” nuts that connect to the hinges, if y’all can find someway to make it where the factory T-45 nuts can fit onto the door hinge that would be impressive.

 

BTW - yes the factory T-45 nuts do connect to the hinges for those worried about theft.
