Anyone ever forget to replace gas cap ...

... and then go and drive through a big ole mud puddle ...

I am embarrassed to say that I did ...

Although the mud puddle part was fun.

Anyhow, I doubt much contamination entered the gas tank ... the entire quarter panel (fender excluded) was quite clean.

But, I am thinking to add some Seafoam for piece of mind.

Thoughts?

How could anything get past the little flapper to get into the tank? I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Whatever happened to enter has to eventually go somewhere right? I suppose whatever water there was would evaporate, but any other junk ....
