Does anyone have experience with both tops? I'm getting ready to order a new Jeep, I have the standard soft top on my '12. Was wondering if the premium top is worth the extra coin.

I have had both and I like premium top better. It's made better, darker color. Looks like what they put on nice convertible sports cars like a Audi or BMW,
It's soft like a sail not hard and scratchy like the other top. I think it's $400 more? Worth it to me.

The premium top doesn't stain as easily, if at all, compared to the old top. I've had mud on mine a number of times and it still looks new once I pressure wash it. The old one would have stained like the fender flares already.
Look up bestop twill top on AMAz$$ and look at the pictures, I have had both and the 2013 Premium top is way better. Has spring assist design to so one person can lower and raise top by themselves.
